The national employment report from the U.S. Department of Labor is dismal, pointing to a 9.7% unemployment rate and increased numbers of unemployed and underemployed Americans. For minorities it is further daunting at 16.5% for African Americans, 12.5% for Hispanics and 8.6% for Whites. When our neighbors gain employment they increase their earnings and contribute to the tax base, thus, improving the economy throughout our cities benefitting us all.

MenzFit is taking an active yet innovative role in helping men make positive and lasting changes in their lives. With our steady campaigns, generous donors and gently worn clothing, MenzFit has been able to assist more than 4,500 men, of which 60% remain employed.
